Marketplace and Automatic Crafting Bot on Dofus Retro
Updated on 8/19/2026
The Marketplace is the only place in Dofus Retro where you can earn kamas without fighting or gathering. Buying below market price, reselling with a margin, or turning raw resources into crafted items: these three loops can be fully automated. Here is how a Marketplace bot works and what you need to know to make it profitable.
What a Marketplace bot automates
The bot monitors the prices of a defined list of items, buys when a listing drops below your threshold, and relists it with your set margin. It handles bank trips, listing taxes, and batch sizes (single, x10, x100) — the best profit margins are often found in price gaps between different batch sizes.
- •Price monitoring on a defined list of items
- •Automatic buying under a threshold, reselling with a configured margin
- •Management of x1 / x10 / x100 batches and listing taxes
- •Automatic bank return to store kamas and inventory
Batch crafting
Automatic crafting chains recipes as long as ingredients are available: the bot gets resources from the bank, goes to the workshop, launches crafts, and puts finished items up for sale. Combined with a gathering bot that supplies the bank, this creates a complete loop: gathering → crafting → Marketplace, with zero intervention.
Profitability depends on the profession and server: consumables (bread, potions) sell fast but with low margins, equipment sells slower but with better margins. Start with a profession whose demand you already know.
Setup with WGPanel
The Marketplace and crafting bot are configured directly from the application: list of items to monitor, purchase thresholds, resale margins, and recipes to chain. For more advanced strategies — batch arbitrage, conditional restocking, alerts — the Lua API exposes Marketplace, bank, and inventory functions, documented in the API reference.
Mistakes that cost kamas
- •Systematically undercutting the lowest price: you crash the market and destroy your own margin
- •Monitoring too many items at once: your capital gets spread thin and unsold items pile up
- •Ignoring the listing tax: a 5% margin can turn into a net loss
- •Crafting without studying the market: an item that doesn't sell ties up resources and kamas
Frequently asked questions
Does the Marketplace bot work while I farm?
Yes. Each session is independent: one account can run on the Marketplace while others farm or run donjons, thanks to multi-account management.
How many kamas can you generate with the Marketplace?
It entirely depends on the server, starting capital, and chosen items. The bot's advantage isn't a magical profit margin, but consistency: it executes your strategy 24/7 without fatigue or oversight.
Do you need a high-level profession for automatic crafting?
Yes, the bot uses recipes accessible at your profession level. However, it can level up the profession itself by mass-crafting low-level recipes while you sleep.
